In Sun-tzu’s The Art of Warfare, the chapter “Weaknesses and Strengths” states:“A war master, only manipulates instead of being manipulated.”

A truly extraordinary trader can get the opponents trapped within the rhythm set by himself/herself; a true winner controls the situation, rather than being pushed around by it.

In the era of information explosion and rapid changes, if you do not initiatively position yourself, trying to make the other parties abide by the rules of your game, you would merely be able to respond passively, allowing others to tether your nose to lead you along.

Sun Tzu’s The Art of Warfare has long pointed out: Winners are not those who use brute force to suppress others, but those who know how to conceal strengths with “weaknesses,” and how to induce weaknesses with “strengths.” Always timely display the cutting-edge, and also always timely conceal it; those who are able to control the rhythm are to be the very dominators.

* This lecture is not about "how to win," but about teaching you "how to let the other party lose just bearably right."
