《孫子兵法・始計篇》：「先為不可勝，以待敵之可勝。」

In Sun-tzu’s The Art of Warfare, the chapter “Laying Plans” states: “make ourselves undefeatable first, then wait until the enemy turns to be defeatable.”

 

人都是先有機會，才能施展出能力。在機會尚未降臨之前，人與人的能力差距很小，可能只有1與1.1的差異。

然而，當機會來臨之際，你比別人多出那0.1的能力值，日後就會逐漸發展成十倍、百倍、千倍的差距。

勝負之差，往往始於未發之時。平時讓自己多出0.1的準備，就是為了迎接將來那個等在路上的命運轉捩點。

With the opportunity emerging first, so can people exert their capabilities.

In the times when the opportunity has not descended yet, the gap between people’s capabilities is very narrow, the difference probably being between 1 and 1.1; however, as the opportunity emerges, the extra 0.1 competency value that you possess might cause the gap between you and others to be gradually amplified tenfold, one hundred-fold, or even one thousand-fold afterwards.

Victory or defeat is actually preordained before the battle begins. Make sure you routinely add the extra 0.1 preparation, in order that you will always be ready to welcome the turning point in destiny down along the way.
