Chapter 38 of Tao Te Ching states: “The supreme virtue never aims to be virtuous, so as to be constantly virtuous; the secular virtue aims to be always virtuous, so as to be non-virtuous.”
當品牌失去初心,便失去了與人連結的靈魂。老子曾提醒我們:真正的德行,不是刻意營造的形象,也不是華麗的外在包裝,而是內在信念的自然流露與日常實踐。
我們看過太多品牌或人物,一開始令人敬仰,最後卻讓人失望。問題不是缺乏技術或創意,而是他們忘了當初為什麼出發。當行為與信念背道而馳,忠誠就會變質,價值就會崩塌。
**這是一個價值觀驅動選擇的時代,人們購買的不是產品,而是理念;人們追隨的不是表象,而是真誠。**所以問問自己:你還記得最初的信念嗎?一旦動搖,即使再多的創新,都難以挽回人心。
As a brand loses its initial mind, so will it lose the soul linked to people. Lou-tzu reminds us: true virtue is not the deliberately generated image, nor the gorgeous external packaging; instead, it is the spontaneous expression of the inward belief and the everyday practice. We witnessed too many brands or celebrities, who had been so admirable in the beginning, but ended up making people disappointed. The problem is not about lacking techniques or creativities, but that they have forgotten about why they had initially set out. As behavior and belief go against each other, loyalty will go sour, and value will collapse. In this selection-driven-by-value era, what people purchase is not the product itself, but its concept; what people pursue is not the appearance, but the sincerity. Hence, ask yourself once again: do you still remember the initial mind? Once it is shattered, no matter with how many more innovations, it is still impossible to win back people’s loyalty.
